Site Update
Okay, so I’ve been working nonstop almost on this herbal dictionary. (Sneak Preview) It isn’t that extensive yet, just adding info from a collection of herbal references. I just wanted herb pages where I could add any info that I find out as well as any and all recipes I use and like. Enjoy!!

Garden Update
Flowers have always been a little indulgence of mine. Last summer I started my first little flower garden. It did.. well, okay I guess. I only lost a tiny set of yellow flowers. The pink ones of the same kind lasted.. just the yellow ones died. Not sure if that was me or the fact I got the yellow ones at a different store. Also if you can’t tell I’m still new at the flower names and lingo.
That’s where my new job comes in. I started working at The Flowershop Network no long ago and it’s really got me excited about flowers again. Being there with so many former florists and nursery workers its easy to pick up something. The weeks we have photoshoots are really my favorites. They store all the flowers in my office (because it gets the coldest) and I swear it looks like a fairy garden! The flower arrangements all over my shelves, the buckets or loose sprays lining my floor. Gorgeous!
Anywho, I was talking to my awesome boss Jamie about planting a garden and she gave me several books on the subject. My favorite was RD Home Handbooks: Herbs. I loved all of the little recipes and ideas for herbs the book had to offer. Recipes like: face moisturizers and masks, lotions, sachets, potpourri, and tons of cooking ideas. I’m pretty crafty and thought this could be something interesting to make a hobby.
That’s what this is. My Hobby. I am going to document everything I do with this herb garden in hopes to promote the use of herbs or just gardening in general as well as provide references and recipes for those of you already interested. So keep reading, this project will grow fast!
